Renovation of and addition to an historic industrial building, converting it into a new museum with three state-of-the-art movie theaters, sound stage, flexible exhibition galleries, education center, café, museum shop, offices and support spaces. A NYC Economic Development Corporation Project. Involved community, public, landmarks, and city government interactions and approvals. Realized over five separate phases the last four of which were simultaneous with occupancy.
