design, review and approval processes with community, landmarks,
and local government agencies.
Sackler Center
for Arts Education
New
education center for school-aged children. Project includes
computer equipped lecture and workshop rooms, new state-of-the-art
media theatre, and staff offices. Peter B. Lewis Theater Restoration and Modernization
Complete
restoration and renovation of the original 300 seat multi-purpose
theater designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Includes major structural
modifications, ground water remediation, and integration
of state-of-the-art audio-visual technology into a landmarked
interior. Guggenheim
Museum Expansion and Renovation
Complete renovation
and restoration of original Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece, including
thermal/vapor envelope and mechanical upgrades and complete interior
renovation, including restoration of large and small rotundas. The
expansion includes new state-of-the-art exhibition galleries, offices,
workshops and support facilities. This project involved a long range
programming and planning phase and a successful review process encompassing
complex environmental and zoning variances, landmarks review, and
sensitive public and community review.
